Eduardo de Jesus is full professor at the Department of Social Communication at UFMG, where he is part of the graduate program in Social Communication. His research focuses on the relationship between space, territory and moving image with an emphasis on two directions: the way in which contemporary Brazilian cinema represents space and the presence of the moving image in exhibition spaces typical of contemporary art. He published "The Reterritorializations of Urban Space in Brazilian Cinema" in Space and Subjectivity in Contemporary Brazilian Cinema (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017), organized Walter Zanini - Vanguardas, desmaterialização e tecnologias na arte (Martins Fontes, 2018) and Estratégias da arte em uma era de catástrofes (Cobogó, 2017). He was a member of selection and curatorial commissions for several editions of the Bienal Sesc_Videobrasil.
Parallel (2017), by Jiwon Choi, participated in the 20th Contemporary Art Festival Sesc_Videobrasil.
